Lemuel K. Hirtle. The funeral of Lemuel K. Hirtle, 84, of 264 Farrington Street, Wollaston, who died Saturday in the Quincy Hospital was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock fromthe Russell Funeral Home, 641 Hancock Street, Wollaston. Rev. Horace Tatum, minister of the First Baptist Church, officiated, and burial was in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.

Mr. Hirtle, who had been employed as a shipper in the Tubular Rivet and Stud Company for 50 years, was born in Nova Scotia. He had been a resident of Wollaston for 60 years.

He was the husband of the late Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Esau) Hirtle, and leave three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stacey of Somerville, Mrs. Gladys Deacon of Quincy, and Mrs. Marjorie Gallant of Braintree; three sons, George A. Hirtle of Weymouth, Lemuel A. Hirtle of Dorchester, and Walter Hirtle of Wollaston, 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sarah E. Hirtle, wife of Lemuel Kenny Hirtle, a former resident of Quincy, died yesterday at her home 95 Squantum St., East Milton. She had been sick for several months. Besides her husband, she is survived by several children. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at her late hoe. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Hirtle.

Robert S. Hirtle of 121 Taylor Street, Wollaston, died yesterday at Quincy Hospital after an illness of 10 days. Born and educated in Midville, Nova Scotia, he came to Quincy in 1890 and moved into the Taylor Street home in 1907. Before his
retirement many years ago Mr. Hirtle was a cabinetmaker.

Fletcher H. Hirtle

WEYMOUTH - Fletcher H. Hirtle, 83, of 135 Thompson Road, North Weymouth, died yesterday after a long illness at the Devlin Nursing Home, Weymouth.

Born in Midville, Nova Scotia, he had lived in Weymouth for five years. Previously he had lived in North Quincy for 40 years.

He was a retired employee of the Tubular Rivet and Stud Company, Quincy.

In addition to his wife Mrs. Minnie F. Corkum Hirtle, he is survived by a son, Elbert f. Hirtle of Weymouth, three daughters, Mrs. Alice Jones of Dorchester, Mrs. Mildred Hawes of Holbrook, and Mrs. Murial McBurnie of Weymouth; two brothers, Dan Hi
of Wollaston and Charles Hirtle of North Quincy; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Snyder of Wollaston, Mrs. Elvira Fletcher of Concord, and Mrs. Emily Philips of Quincy; five grandchildren and one great-grandaughter.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Deware Brothers, 576 hancock Street, Quincy. Burial will be in Knollwood Park Cemetary, Canton.
