Henry Leslie Misener, 71, a Dartmouth contractor, died Saturday at the Halifax Civic Hospital. Born in Liscomb, Guysborough Co., Mr. Misener resided the greater portion of his life in Dartmouth. He was president of H. L. Misener and Son Ltd. until his retirement about three years ago. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Pearl Misener; three sons, Carl and Robert of Dartmouth; David, a professor at Acadia University, Wolfville; one daughter, Joan (Mrs. Malcolm MacLeod), St. John's, Newfoundland; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Hiltz, Port Bickerton, Guysborough Col; and Mrs. Thomas Phalen, Halifax. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Steven Road Baptist Church. Florence Kaiser Port Bickerton - Florence Kaiser, 96, Port Bickerton, died Wednesday in MacKarracher Nursing Home, Sherbrooke. Born in Wilson's Cove, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Matilda (Misner) Wilson. She was a former school teacher, having taught in several schools in Guysborough County. She is survived by a daughter, Amy (Mrs. Arden (Tommy) Thompson), Antigonish; a sister, Margaret, Halifax; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband. Percy; a daughter, Mary; an infant son; five sisters; four brothers. The body is in Gospel Hall, Port Bickerton, where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
