PEPPIN (Corkum), Cornelia Frances "Connie" - Born in Chester, December 23, 1917, she was a daughter of the late David Perry and Jessie Meisner Corkum. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 13, 2007. Connie is survived by her children, Carol (Bill) McLaughlin, George (Audrey), Elaine (Peter) Crawford, Wanda (Daniel) Malfara, and Wendy Davis; also by her grandchildren, Natasha (Hani), Jason (Linda), Andrew (Deanna), Carolyn and Dahlia, and great-grandchildren, Josh, Hailey and Alexis, as well as her sister, Audrey Newcombe, Somerville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Les, and her grandson, Stephen. With her kind and gentle manner, Connie had a great passion for both music and children. She was a kindergarten and piano teacher; a member of the Fredericton Y's Menettes and the ACW, and an avid supporter of the Fredericton Music Festival. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd., today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. in Christ Church, Westmorland Street. Daughter of the late David Perry and Jessie Meisner Corkum, born in Chester, Nova Scotia, December 23rd, 1917. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 13th, 2007.
Connie is survived by her children, Carol (Bill) McLaughlin, George (Audrey), Elaine (Peter) Crawford, Wanda (Daniel) Malfara, and Wendy Davis. Also, by her grandchildren, Natasha (Hani), Jason (Linda), Andrew (Deanna), Carolyn and Dahlia; and great grandchildren, Josh, Hailey and Alexis; as well as her sister, Audrey Newcombe Somerville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Les; and her grandson Stephen.
With her kind and gentle manner, Connie had a great passion for both music and children. She was a kindergarten and piano teacher, a member of the Fredericton Y's Menettes and the ACW, and an avid supporter of the Fredericton Music Festival.

2004-12-30It is with great sadness that the family of Frederick Clarence Peters announces his passing on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004. Born in 1920 in Souris, Manitoba, he grew up in Carlyle, Saskatchewan. In 1942 he married Mae Goddard and they settled in Fort William. An electrician and proud member of the IBEW, Fred worked as a cable splicer for the Fort William Telephone Department. His love of electronics inspired him to own and operate Peters´ TV, Radio and Appliance Repair shop. Fred had many interests and passions. Wood turning, driftwood designs, acrylic painting and ingenious inventions kept him busy in retirement. His love of the outdoors was spent in many ways - fishing, camping and travelling south as well as west to Carlyle. Fred had a deep love for his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Mae, daughters Sue Wilson (Matt), Lynne Peters (John Garland) and son Wayne (Sandra Hallam), grandchildren Iain and Heather Wilson, Adam and Laura Peters. Other family members also survive. Fred was predeceased by his parents Clare and Jane Peters, sister Doris, brother-in-law Norm Donaldson and a light in his life, granddaughter Deni-Lee Merritt.Our DadYou´ve blessed our lives for so many years,We now say goodbye with sorrow and tears.We´ll remember the stories, the poems and the tales,We´ll remember your guidance on days our strength fails.You´ve been an inspiration, our port in the storm,You´ve kept us all sheltered with arms that were warm.Your talents were many, your ideas so vast,It´s hard to imagine that all this has passed.
