Meisner, Grace Catherine - 80, Dartmouth, died January 11, 2000, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Ecum Secum, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Fleet) Snow. She was a member of Christ Church Dartmouth. Surviving are son, Terry, Edmonton, Alberta; sister, Hazel Cameron, Halifax; grandson Craig, Washington, D.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Bayne; son, Michael; sister, Myrtle Fleet.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Portland St., Dartmouth. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, in Christ Church, Rev. Cathy Lee Cunningham officiating. Burial to follow in Christ Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Lung Association.

Reginald Willard Jewers of Scotch Village, Hants Co., N.S., passed away Monday, May 13, 2002, age 84. Born Feb. 16, 1918, Marie Joseph, Guysborough Co., N.S. Son of Frank and Emma Mesiner Jewers, was a retired shipwright and employed with DND at H.M.C. Dockyard. Retired in 1979 after 28 years. A veteran of WWII, served overseas in the Royal Canadian Navy. A member of Lodge 119 a.f. & a. m., the renowned chaper 19, also Hiram Chapter 3, Royal Arch Masons. Last surviving member of the family. Surviving are sister-in-law Evelyn Jewers, Chilliwack, BC, Verlie Wambolt, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, several nieces. Predeceased by wife, former Dorothy Margaret Wambolt, October 6, 1988. Sister Mary (Mrs. Lloyd Warwick), brothers Clye, George. Cremated. Burial at a later date at Scotch Village Century Cemetery, Hants Co., N.S.
